Golden week = no new Jump, no Naruto, Bleach or D Gray Man - SPAMMIT.
Secretly, we know they've all gone off for a mass orgy (the characters, not the mangaka - ew, real life fantasies? I'm too much of a geek for that!), sandwiching Kanda, Sasuke, Hitsugaya and Allen between tangy slices of Naruto, munchable morsels of Lavi and Ishida, with a moist splattering of Ichigo (not too sweet, not too salty) all between the thick, crunch crust of Tyki Mikk and Renji. Washed down with a strong glass of WTF.

I forgot to say that, the other week, Wellington had its version of a comic/anime/geekfest called Armageddon (which I'm never sure I spell right but don't care enough to look up), which sucked complete donkey bollocks apart from me meeting up with

D Gray man is slow and it took me quite awhile to get into because there's a big focus on a dumb girl character. But I like so many of the guys that it's worth it, yes. Allen (the main guy) is okay, if not a bit of a martyr, but Kanda, Tyki, Lavi and Krory are so cool they even him out.
